Hello, fellow crafters! First off, I have to apologize to those of you who follow me. I'm late in posting, and I'm so very sorry! I've been sick, and then there was a death in the family, and I just plain got behind on things. Thank you for your understanding! So on with the "show"!

Here at Crafty Gals Corner, the theme for this month is:

A note from Rachelle Anne Miller:
I am an artist & designer living in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia with my husband and three amazing children! I love to create and am especially drawn to all things cute. I've worked on children's books, greeting cards, craft supplies, children's room decor, tech accessories, and more. I love to bring out joy and imagination in my art and create something a little different to inspire and make you smile.

Colour of Love

Isn't she a real cutie?? I had a lot of fun with her....wait....I always say that! Lol! But I really do mean it! I just love digital images!

I used a set of markers that are new to me. They weren't expensive like some brands. These are called "ArtSkills Blendable Markers". They are really good!

So of course I started by printing the image, then colored it with the new markers. I mounted her on Creative Memories papers. Then I simply added a little decoration to it, and she was done! Simple, and yet I think she came out pretty good.

I sure hope that you will join us for this awesome challenge! Anything Goes is a wide open crafty space full of ideas!

Thank you for stopping by,

I love the the fact that we can do anything for this project. So as I sat and pondered about it, what did I do? Ummm...another card! 😂 Here is my card:

Pattie's Creations

As you can see, it wasn't the regular card I normally do. I'm not sure, but I think it's called a 3 panel trifold card. Anyway, it was very fun to do!

There are a lot of tutorials out there to show how I made my catd (that's how I got it 😂). I did a lot of layering and I used a small heart punch to make the shamrocks. Also, I used my new set of markers by Artskills. I must tell you...they are GOOD markers! I love them!

I hope you will join us in this month's challenge! We love seeing the diversity of cards!

Have a blessed day!

Now let's take a look at what I did for this month's challenge:

Isn't she a cutie?? I really wasn't sure what colors I wanted to do....until I saw my background papers! It just happened to work out, so I went with the flow of it.

I went with my usual TriBlend Markers (LOVE them), and be tween the image and the designer paper, I used an acetate sheet with stars all over. And then of course, I matted it.

If you're one of the unfortunate people who are stuck at home because of weather...come join our challenge! It'll keep your mind off that cold, cold weather!

Blessings and Happy Crafting!

Prize ~ 3 Sets of Digis

Here is my card:

Here I'm using the Three Wise Men from Doctor Digi. I wasn't sure about the colors at first, but I thought they came out really good.

For this challenge, I used my TriBlend markers, and the my white color pencil for the highlights. I then mounted it on some design paper and added to my white base. I added some rhinestones on top for the stars.

It's really a basic card, but the colors give it the wow factor it needed.

I do hope you join us for our last challenge of the year! And Merry Christmas! See you next year!

Crafty Gals Corner #249 - Dots or Stripes

Hello, fellow crafter! We have a new challenge for this month. But before I go on with that, I have a question. IS THIS YEAR ALMOST OVER ALREADY?? REALLY?? I feel like it just began! So much has happened in my life, that makes this year a whirlwind year. Anyway, on to the project!

For this month, the theme for this challenge is:

~ Dots and/or Stripes ~

Our sponsors for this challenge are:

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certifcate

Prize:  2 digis, 1 pad of digital papers "mini"
and the possibility of being Special Guest DT

I really love the image I got for this month. First, my image:

This little cutie is called Peppermint Mice from Jan's Digi Stamp Shop. First, I took some cardstock and used my Silhouette Cameo 4 to print and cut the image, along with the sentiment. I used my TriColor Markers. I tried to use an off-brand, but it just wouldn't work. So I started over again.

Once I was done, I cut out more cardstock as a base for the card and used black mica paper from the Paper Temptress shop to use for the layer under the image. These mica/metallic papers are gorgeous! Pictures don't do them justice.

All I had to do next was to add the image and put some embellished "pearls" on as my dots. Finished!

I hope you will join us for this challenge. Thank you for stopping by!
Many Blessings,
Jeanie Ellis, Scrapbookingmamaw
